My opinion: Jimbo looking for a new start

Jimbo's wife Candi (i know...never marry a woman with a stripper name) cheated on him with a younger guy that worked in Fl State athletics. They got a divorce late last year. I personally think he would like to get away from that area and start fresh. I think he may have some bad blood with Saban and Pruitt and is licking his chops to take down the dynasty.
He would fill the need we have all wanted to see at LSU - qb coaching. We have some great players coming in at receiver (Drake Davis is going to ball). If he comes in I also see LSU landing Cam Akers. He will retain Aranda. I also believe Coach O will stay.
The Bama train is unfortunately gaining even more steam right now. The way they recruit is rediculous. The only thing that hurts Saban is when coordinators leave for HC jobs. Hopefully he retires within the next 3 years.

Hate to go personal, but this will be a factor that fisher will have to decide on: what about about his joint custody? Every time I bring up fisher to LSU, some FSU fan brings up the custody situation and they say is a deal breaker. If this has been discussed, I misssd it.

I'd be very surprised if a divorce settlement -- where *she* was the one sleeping around -- didn't take into account that he can and will move around for his job; him being likely to leave the state at some point before his kids come of age.

Divorce laws suck. Why in the hell wouldn't the cheating party be treated like someone who has breached a contract, like every other contract? But, no, divorce has to be political, it's treated in special courts where the judges and lawyers are all in bed together. And it's decided based purely on social convention.

Remember back in 2000, I would see Fisher out at Southdown Daiquiris. Usually in a wind suit. Talked over beers several times. Never saw Candi. Later I found out that she is certifiable cray cray.

I always thought this statement to be funny as hell. A woman who likes dick is a "whore", but a guy who loves pussy is, well just a "guy".
I'm sure we won't have any issues moving her and their special needs child closer to BR. I'm sure this will be part of the negotiations.

I am no insider but i will state a few things that are facts. Jimbo, Pellini and Searels after leaving LSU all said OTR that les miles was a fricking moron.
Now, with that being said, it is well known Jimbo wants to beat daddy saban's arse. he worked for him. he knows him as good as anybody. he wants the challenge and he loves LSU. Remember jimbo's comments about the SEC awhile back? That was a indirect shot across the bow to Nick.
His personal life could mess things up and will be be happy with our offer? who knows. we can only wait and see.

This is sooooooo true! Can you imagine this. Jimbo comes in. We go to Alabama next year and we beat Saban and Alabama and end the 6 game skid!

i can tell you guys with absolute certainty that Jimbo's current best friends still live in zachary and they are VERY close. so its highly likely that he would be coming back to a place where he has many familiar faces from his time here. i wouldn't see it as a "fresh start" more so as being around some familiar faces he may miss seeing. oh and the money and possibility to play in the best conference in america isn't bad either.

Good to have a good support group in his situation. He is such a good fit for LSU. Hope everything I am hearing will become a reality.

I remember when Pelini was interviewed at Nebraska and a reporter asked him what he had learned from Miles, he paused for what felt like an eternity and said some bullshite while he was rolling his eyes..
You could tell, they thought they should have been running the program.. Im just glad the goober is gone..
