My ban bet thread: going with Jimbo

This board is all on board for Herman, which I honestly feel would be a really good hire, but I think there is way too much confidence that we go with Tom, and in the end, it's still going to be Jimbo. The smoke screens. The misdirection.
I'm confident enough to do a ban bet with anyone. I'm willing to go a year, but if a taker would prefer it shorter, say to the beginning of the 2017 or whatever, I'd discuss.

I think this smoke screen stuff is bull shite. I admit I hadn't thought this completely through till a couple days ago but in this situation why the frick would you need a smoke screen. It's no secret both parties (Jimbo and Herman) know each is being contacted by LSU simultaneously because, well, we need coach. Both know they're HIGHLY coveted. That's all the leverage needed IMO. Leaking shite to the public is useless in this particular situation.
