Miles to Kentucky?

With Stoops not getting things done in KY and Miles being free, how would he fit in to KY? Miles can use the LA pipeline to send recruits over to KY (He is a great recruiter) and maybe can bring KY back to the map.

Don't think I've ever heard that phrase before.

2-2 is his record and will be 2-3. he has a number of winnable games. He could finish 6-6 and win bowl game. He wont get canned for 7-6

To be fair if Kentucky was just glossed over on a map of the U.S. would anyone notice?

You just posted this exact same shite thread on the rant

Same thing can be said for Louisiana. Lets not pretend that LA is a top tier state.
Real discussion is if KY wants to compete, they would need a tier 1 coach, which Les is. 7-6 isnt good enough for KY.

Woof. Imagine Miles trying to play Miles-ball with half the talent against the same competition.

quote:I look at their schedule and see 5-7 at best. 4-8 more likely. Kentucky is bad. New Mexico State, Florida, Southern Miss have all hung 40+ on them already. They have ONE "should win" game left.
He could finish 6-6
Remaining schedule
@ Bama Loss
Vandy Tossup
Miss State Tossup
@ Mizzou Loss
Georgia Loss
@ Tennessee Loss
Austin Peay Win
@Louisville Loss
Even if they win all their tossups AND pull an upset against Mizzou or UGA, 6-6 is their ceiling. 3-9 is just as likely

I hope Les coaches next year, but I hope it's not in the SEC or anywhere near Louisiana.

LA - most NFL players per capita in the nation... and nobody to compete with for recruiting except Bama in a couple cases each year...

Just don't think that happens, I think he will get a better opportunity if he is patient which he is. I don't think Miles comes back to the SEC, I think he is big ten bound especially if the Penn State job opens up. That is a slam dunk hire for them and it is a big enough job for Miles to want.

To be fair; the last time I was in Kentucky, it was hard to find a place to buy a beer. Tough environment for good college football
