Listening to XM radio tonight and Les Miles name came up as a possible target for the Miami hurricanes if LSU let's him walk. The source states that Les has recruiting relationships in Florida and with his personality would be the star power signing that the university so desperately needs. Any thoughts?

My grandma is convinced Les is going to Texas.

That counts as a source right?

Les Miles in Miami???

Charlie Strong needs to stop f**king around with Texas and come bring Miami back to national prominence.

Everybody seems to think a coach fired from FIU would be a homerun for them so Les should be whatever is 5 times better than a homerun.

Given their rich history of offensive prowess, I'm sure their fanbase will get really fired up over installing a power I offense!

Would have success recruiting out of the miami area.

Is a standup guy and the University Admins really need that.

FSU would be without Jimbo, so that would help.

Maybe Cristobal won't be a great coach at Miami but don't use FIU's incompetence against him. He never should have been fired and was the only coach to make them worth at least half a shite.

Les will go to Texas if they don't get
Saban. If they offer Saban 20 Million he would be an idiot not to take it and we would be fools to try and match it. He's good but he's not that good!

They pulled the trigger early but if FIU's admins was under the impression that they were good then he went 3-9, that's an egg laying. He might become a good HC but he's not in the class of Les.

Apparently Les is in his current situation partially due to his failure to ingratiate himself with the boosters. That would go over super in Texas.

He's a beaten old man, hardly a star power hire. Miami fans would revolt watching that offense with those athletes week after week.

Since the Gumps are convinced LSU is making a huge mistake by letting Miles go, maybe Miles to Bama should be considered if Saban does end up at Texas?
