Someone needs to be called out in this whole fricking DEBACLE. If it's Alleva, fire him. If it's some dickhead booster/TAF member/Bd of Supervisor member, then name them publicly so they can be justly scorned.

Why would this teach Les he needs to change? He won. If anything this is just going to make him more convinced he's untouchable.

Sounds to me like going after Jimbo wasn't really Jimbo's doing. The "bigs" decided a change needed to be made and went around him. The regular season is just now over, make a move and go after the best coaches available. The way this played out was the problem, not that a "Plan B" wasn't in place.

No idea when exactly Alleva backed down but Schad is prolly more right than wrong about the timing in general. Halftime, 3rd Q, Pregame, tailgating it was certainly in the past 24 hours.
He went from from his office refusing to comment on Les at GI club to a statement he was staying on before the players took the pads off.
There was no reason to let Les twist for 3 weeks by saying he was gonna evaluate "after the season" then announce some 17 minutes after the game Les was staying.
WTH kind of evaluation process did he do in those 17 minutes?
