I'm rooting for Charlie Strong but he is sure greasing the skids for his firing.

Texas is not a well-coached team--different from LSU under Miles.

With Miles it was play calling and execution. With Strong it's fundamentals. I've never seen such feeble half-arse arm tackling from a supposed major college defense.

Their defense is playing well today.

The d is handling their business better today than all year tbh. They're young, they'll be good next year i think.

Yes, especially if they get to develop an extra year in a single defensive system.

Texas is a year away from turning the corner.

I really hope the admin at UT feels the same way.

LSU was a very good tackling team under Miles.

LOL they actually had some guy say that Texas had as much talent as LSU and used the QB as an example. I asked him if he could tackle because if he could then he's on the wrong side of the ball

Texas is horrible on defense. And they actually have a defensive minded coach. They f*cked.

I know. Hindsight is 20/20. I think that the 2nd INT was total BS because the UT defender mugged the receiver with the ball in the air, but Texas did look better on defense until Oklahoma adjusted.
