this might sound dumb but that really jumped out at me as well. the last few years it seems like weve had QBs who were terrified to let go of the ball. Jennings was especially bad.

i get that you dont want to throw a pick but at the same time you have to trust the call and trust the WR and put the ball in play.

WR screens are a huge part of college and pro offenses these days. We have never done it particularly well so would be great to see more consistency there

I remember when Cam first got to LSU he was hammering on Mett to get the ball out on time. I don't know where that intensity went.

What I came away impressed with is when he said you don't need talent to do the little things/ fundamentals right. To long LSU has relied on talent and choked because of lack of fundamentals.

it stresses it and takes the pressure off at the same time. its simple, do it right. it reminds me of this line from 'alice in wonderland': "begin at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end. then stop."

Yeah amen to that. He said it doesn't take talent to line up correctly. I'm really liking this guy.
