This is also the LSU plane i doubt he the pilot lives in PITT. That plane basically lives in laffyette.

Nope that one (a Netjets plane) flew back to Pitt this afternoon, presumably with Canada in it. Also note that this one stopped in BR on the way, which means it picked somebody up.

Could have but it was coming from home base in Lafayette, so it was probably empty.

One plane dropped him off which is a "rental plane" and went back LSU plane took him back tonight and appears to be staying overnight. Maybe flying back in the am.

Anyone know why the LSU plane is based in Lafayette instead of BR? Seems like a constant extra leg of the trip

I would guess because of the individual that actually owns the plane.

The planes don't belong to LSU. They belong to Air Med Services which I think is part of Acadian Ambulance. Air Med donates the use of the planes (and pilots) to LSU and they are used heavily in recruiting and in situations like this.
