You had to know that he was behind the Houston interview. He's working hard to get him a head coaching gig elsewhere.
If I'm Fisher and I found this out, it would irk me just a bit. When Saban left, he wouldn't endorse Fisher for the LSU job according to Skip Bertman.

There is one school that has said kiffin is our man. Even just as offensive coordinator, there's only one. Houston has him on the list of possible guys to interview but only one school in america is going after lane with both barrels for any spot on their staff.
