Oregon firing HC last night is a huge game changer. IMO we should assume Kiffen to Oregon no matter if it seems likely or not. This means if Kiffen is out, instead of getting embarrassed and settling again, we hire Sark NOW. This is also the best way to screw Bama, they lose their current OC to HC position and we steal their backup plan. Thoughts?

Great plan, but to expect this current LSU administration to be forward thinking is an exercise in futility.

It doesn't matter what the fans think. Coach O will make the right hire.

What is the infatuation with Sark? His high point is really Mark Sanchez. I don't understand why LSU should consider him. O said we are gonna get the "Best OC in the country" He's not one of them

Every legit national CFB writer tweeted out names that are more than likely in the running for the Oregon job. Lane Kiffin was not on one of their lists.

Miles wants to use Sark as his OC for leverage to get a job/contract. They were in Purdue together last week?

OR, and just the way things seem to be going since 1/9/12, we offer Sark, he verbally agrees, waits until january to let us know he's signing with his DREAM JOB at bama.

we really need a win against them. lol

Why bother? We always got Ensminger as back-up if we can't get anybody decent.

I've seen no credible report that says Kiffin is even a candidate for Oregon.

I think they screwed up promoting an OC and won't make that mistake again.

I fully expect them to hire an existing head coach.

That move makes a lot of sense. LSU should learn from Alleva's mistakes and have Plan B, etc., already in the works.

Sark already knows that Kiffin is moving on. He probably has the Bama OC job locked down.

What's your Plan C? Get on the Eaux Canada train now.

Why hire Sark when someone like Kendal Briles is out there? LSU would do themselves a huge favor if they hired someone to take them more in the direction of a true spread rather than pro-style or west coast offense. There are very good to serviceable spread QB recruits in the state of Louisiana every year, and its much easier to find someone able to run the spread than it is to run a pro style/west coast offense like Sark would likely use

Lsu should rethinkthe kiffin oc hire if so. He didnt even recruit a qb at tennessee and 3 yrsat usc . Wittek kessler scroggins. And got fired out there in the pac12 . Now at alabama with a nfl offensive line he has 1qb he coached in nfl and he didnt even recruit him. And all the success alabama has had and he is it. Plus a nfl defense that you know can back u up if you make an offensive mistake. Kiffin is average at best. Not a qb guru
