Les as a Coach in Waiting ... Retirement

Let the man save some dignity and retire when he is ready in a few years:
-- Les agrees to cut his salary in half and takes Kragthorpe's title of Special Assistant to Head Coach/Chief of Staff
-- LSU can then hire a young head coach for around $3.5M/year
-- Les is still one of the main recruiters
-- Les still handles press conferences for the team (just to continue to befuddle the reporters looking for serious answers)
-- Les becomes the designated fake field goal coach
-- new head coach must keep Orgeron and Wilson on staff
Not going to suggest who the new coach should be, but there have been some big names mentioned that all have a lot of miles on them. I'd rather see a young coach with long-term potential that could learn a few select skills from Les before he retires. His players love him and recruits want to play for him at LSU ... there is something there worth keeping around.
And yes, I do realize that none of this will happen but it is not any more far-fetched than a lot of other scenarios being thrown around.
