Yeah I don't see where this is supposed to make sense from a career standpoint.

He is 40 years old now. If you want to be a college coach, then stay in college. If you want to do NFL then go.

One of his strengths is recruiting. Players love him. He should stick to that. Recruit another top 5 class, learn from the best, get another stud QB to succeed, and then let yourself pick what job you want.

Texas may give him a call next year???

why would kelly bring in a seasoned OC that runs a different style of offense? Wasn't kelly calling the plays in philly anyways? does lane want to learn kelly's HUNH spread and then go back to college as a HC with it ?

Yeah. I dont get it. At all.

Lane does not like to live in Alabama, I am surprised he lasted this long, it is just a matter of time.

if it were to happen, this would be the most likely answer.

Really? Based on what info, champ?

He's stated that he'd like to come back for a 3rd season. Doesn't sound like a guy dying to get out.

He isn't going anywhere. That would be a terrible combo anyway.

No. It is the other guy named Dorsey that wears number 90 that plays for them.

Because the consensus among tRant is that no one in their right mind would even consider going within twenty miles of Tuscaloosa, of course.
