You do realize there is a more likely chance that Gus is fired before Miles. So your theory is laughable at best! IF Steele leaves it is not because Auburn is a more stable situation!!

It's a$$holes like you who spout ignorant comments that provides nothing but negativity!!

Les was literally fired until your retarded AD thought the standing ovation in TS was support and not a farewell

I can't see pictures from that service at work, but if its a picture of Jacobs, you won't get any argument from me

Except that Miles and LSU are working to keep Steele right now.

None of this makes sense. Why would Auburn want him? I get that LSU wants him to stay purely for stability reasons, but it's all just weird.

losing 5 in a row to bama, getting drubbed in consecutive years by a much less talented arkansas, keeping games close vs. the likes of towson, eastern michigan and syracuse, not having won the west in 4 years, losing 3+ conference games the last 3 seasons, and failure to develop a qb or any semblance of a passing attack causes negativity.

JMO, he fits a profile. Above average recruiter, gets along well with the entire staff, and brings stability. Gus just needs an average D, and someone who brings in talent. He checks all boxes. Plus, he comes at a bargain.

Kevin's brother is Associate AD at Auburn. It's all about connections.

I hope it is true. I personally think he is a terrible coach.

Can't argue with that. Let him go and promote "O".

We are going to give him a raise from his $1mil+ he already earns, how is that a bargain for a guy whose last 3 defenses were 40+ in nearly every category

This is true, but after the president of the university stepping in on Miles' behalf, he isn't going anywhere until he retires or has a losing season. Malzahn could easily be fired for 8 or fewer wins next year.
