Just in case you've forgotten the Peach Bowl last year

Tom Herman and the Houston Cougars beat Jimbo Fisher and Florida State
38 - 24
Another thing to think about is Jimbo is rooted in Florida State and has proven success. If we go all out for Herman and he's a miss (which I doubt) BUT if that's the case and it doesn't work out, Jimbo will still be at Florida State. But if we miss on Herman, and he ends up being the next Urban Meyer, and Texas or USC locks him up for 10-15 years we really struck out.
For the record I would like to hire Jimbo as option 2 behind Herman, both great coaches and i think both would have success at LSU

Most agree with you

One game is irrelevant. Mark richt beat Saban like 45-7 in 2004. It's one time.
There is no wrong choice between them tbh.

And Petrino just beat Jimbo 63-20... You want him based on one game????

So Mike Shula blowing out Meyer in 2005 proved he would be a better hire?

Dinardo beat Saban.

So who's the 3rd, 4th, and 5th option?
Who's the next 5 after those 5?

Don't want Petrino. I'd rather Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre or Kyle Whittingham from Utah, I want someone new to the SEC

Someone new may be a bad thing.

I'm glad that MacIntyre looks to be turning CU around. The guy won 10 games at SJSU. That's some coaching

Curley beat Florida State, al-Abama, and Auburn.

1. Herman
2. Fisher
Mark Dantonio; Kyle Whittingham; Mike MacIntyre; Coach O (if he was to win out and make the CFP); Art Briles (I'd rather not, but I would like to know the entire story at baylor); Bobby Petrino,
no particular order
