and this my friends is why you NEVER let your wife or girlfriend have a male personal trainer. He'll become her psychologist, cheerleader, confidant, and when she gets results her hero.

Well I think those are the only two coaches we should pursue if not I say again keep Miles

A hard-hitting take here.

1. Why would Jimbo leave?

Because LSU is one of two schools he has said he would leave for.

His child has a rare bone marrow disease, and it's said (hearsay, do your own research) that they fly to Louisiana to see a dr here.

True or not I have no clue, just saying that people don't always base their jobs, locations, and life around just what's good for football.

uh, he's the darling because he took over at FSU after they had declined and built them back up.

If we fire Miles for Herman I'll throw a fricking fit.

Pay $15 mil to run off the most successful coach in our history, to get a guy with 1-year experience playing in a conference with Tulane and UCF.

Kelly, Fisher, Gruden (joking) I am ok with replacing Miles with. Not some unproven up-and-comer.

Even then we were starting to see how Miles handicaps the playcaller. When Jimbo was let loose, our offenses were very potent ('03, and '06). Now we see what Jimbo can do with an offense, and his record with QBs is now indisputable.

Jimbo is already divorce and it was Taylor Jacobs an ex-Florida Gator. Who was Mrs. Candi's personal trainer. What has Jimbo done? I know he won a title at FSU, didn't have a bad QB. The best he has ever coached. All the other's he developed other than Matt Flynn where are they? People want Raymond to stay around, have you seen the Secondary this year? and you have 2-3 NFL players. You people wonder why your in this boat!

They were good to very good in college and were drafted early in the NFL draft.

Then the NFL realized that they were just over achieving in college due to the system and great QB coaching.

Getting the most out of players and getting them drafted higher than their physical abilities would normally suggest is pretty awesome notch on Jimbo's belt. They were all pretty damn good in college.

Secondary is fricked up from Steele's zone scheme that eliminates our strengths of man coverage. And Raymond recruited this insanely talented secondary.

There is another name that keeps popping up in the rumor mill. Not saying it is true, but it is a possibility.

Lee Fedora's name keeps coming up. Coached at Southern Miss before going to North Carolina. It has taken a couple of years but he has pulled UNC out of a dumpster fire and has them competing for an ACC title this year. He has deep ties to Texas High Schools as his brother is the head coach at Navasota High School.

Not saying it is going to happen or that the rumors are true, but just a name you should watch out for.

You wouldn't if he produces the best LSU offense since '07 - not '13, but '07.

All good names, even Gruden, but there are other coaches out there, too. Chris Petersen is winning with limited resources. Bill O'Brien did a great job at Penn State and might be looking for work. You can never exclude a guy like Whisenhunt seeing college as his last realistic shot at being a head coach. Gary Patterson is as much of a 'safe bet' as anyone.

In short: though I like all three of your names, there are other coaches out there who could probably bring a new direction to LSU that would be successful.

His name is Larry Fedora, and I and a couple others are the only ones mentioning his name. I haven't seen an interest leaked about him. I think he'd be a solid, non-splash hire.
