Wow. Talk about delusional. According to that tard, Les gets credit for the D in 2008 but not in 2010 - 12.

Geez.

ETA:

I like Cam's record as an OC. It will not take long for him to find a OC job.

Actually there has been speculation that he would be the guy here if he doesn't get an NFL gig. His offense fits the run first philosophy of LSU and he and Les are good friends.

Cam landed his first coaching gig in 1983 and has coached in every season from that season to the day the Ravens let him go in December.

He turns 52 in February, hardly "too old" to hang them up.

So, if he's motivated to coach (and interviewing for the Jets OC gig suggests that he is), and the NFL isn't interested, and he's never sat out even a single season since 1983...well, Les contacting him to gauge his interest doesn't seem so far fetched, IMO.

I'm really hoping this cat is announced to LSU right before signing day.

Why before signing day?

With the class we have coming in, I wouldn't do anything to rock the boat.

Amen. It's really a tribute to Les' ability to recruit and LSU's strength as a program that he continues to con anyone from the offensive side of the ball to sign

What's up man I surely hope so. Lsu has too much talent on offense every year not to be competting for the tittle. I heard that teddy bridge water from louisville was so close to signing with lsu but they canceled his visit when mettenberger came. Why is it that they don't recruit dynamic quarterback that can throw and run pisses me off? Lol next year jarvis will be a alll american I think

Since, J Lee threw for record picks for TD's he took over. He had to make a move after losing 5 games. He was scared for his job. Les just got a pay raise and extension.

While that very well may be true, your quote doesn't really say that at all. First of all, you indicated that the quote is not from a player. Second, the quote seems to point to a failure in recruiting a QB...rather than coaching. Finally, the quote predicts an all american WR next year with the status quo.
