Yeah, I like the hire. He's successful with the triple option.

The triple option is exactly the offense Army should run. It'll also make the Army-Navy game next year hella entertaining. Great hire for them.

Yeah that's what I thought.

Navy army game just jumped in my radar as one to attend.

I have always wanted to go but have wanted to wait for a close competitive game.

I don't see why Army didn't just try and go to a spread offense coach. They can't have big OL which is why they went triple option but guys like RichRod run a small OL spread with athletes that don't make it to bigger programs too

Just find that type of offense

They tried that under coach Todd Berry and it was a total disaster for them.

Todd Berry is an awful coach when he doesn't have Kolton Browning saving him.

Thanks Coach Monken for everything! Hail Southern.

This is a really shitty time for Southern to have to find a coach. Right in the middle of transisitoning to the SunBelt.

Brock also tried it.

Berry's problem was he didn't let Bond call everything like he had at ISU.

Spread offenses need a QB that can throw.

No they don't they need QB that can make decisions. Spread QB does not need great arms.

Good spread coaches are in much higher demand. Flexbone coaches aren't, so they're much cheaper
