I agree. But, LSU didn't call a lot of guys. I still can't believe they didn't make overtures to any NFL guys.

We will never know whom may have been interested or agreed to come and coach at LSU. Our incompatent AD Alleva decided to shut down the coaching search before ever starting a true national search. Alleva beleive it was best to pay Les Miles 10 million dollars to buy out his contract so he could just promote our DL coach to the posistion if head coach. Instead of doing his job and getting the best coach he could to come and coach the LSU tigers in 2017 and beyond...

Franklin is from Penn St. and at his dream job. No one wanted Franklin till they beat OSU. He is a great coach but isn't leaving Penn St. Until he is fired or retires.

Could of called but not interested at all. At least from what I remember with media when he took the penn state job that was his dream job
