We've never been a top tier program. We caught lightning in a bottle with Saban. He fked us for his "dream job", only to realize he couldn't be successful unless he was the ultimate dictator. He came back to the SEC to coach against us and build an immovable dynasty. After losing a fg battle to us, he regained his focus and emabarrassed us in a rematch. He then restored order and took over the entire cfb world. We floundered and tried to rationalize that our idiot retard at the helm was somehow comparable to him. He now cashes an "unemployment" check while Saban continues his reign. If you're 40+, you know that LSU has and will frick this thing up. Say hello to fkin Fedora or Holgorsen. As opposed to O. We will hire a 3rd tier fricktard and be the off-season punchline. We're putting our faith in the Duke Lacrosse arse frick and a president that turned last November into a colossal shite show that ended up being a PR nightmare and a stay of execution for a dead man walking. I have a completely bad feeling about this. It's fricking nauseating. They've fricked this search to hell and we fans will pay.

I stopped at your first sentence.

LSU has been a top tier program the last 16 years and it was Emmert, not Saban that made it happen. Saban was still blossoming into the coach he is now - and yeah it sucks he's at Bama - but it's the big picture that mattered for LSU.

The days of Joe Dean are done. LSU sees the value and revenue potential a top tier program delivers. If that wasn't the case, Les Miles would never have been fired, last year, this year, next year as long as he won 8-9-10 games. LSU's hiccup on firing Miles last season wasn't on the AD. I think Alleva sees that value.

The past isn't the present and LSU is surely a top tier program today. Just the money itself makes it so, let alone the recruiting base, conference, etc.

Fedora would be a solid hire. Holgorsen not so much.

Funny every major college analyst in the country has us top 5-10. But since u said were not well then I guess we suck. Forget we're one of the winningest programs in the sec this millennium

The announcers during the LSU Bama game said we are a top 5 program for prospective coaches.

If you listen to tRant, we aren't even in the top 10. Lol
