Let BDP hold a few BBQs, recruiting will be fine.

Probably his weakest aspect. This is why we need a great recruiter on staff who can lock down the state and knows how to recruit Nola

According to Rivals, I would say yes.

In 2014, they were ranked #77.

In 2015, they were #91. This was the class that signed right after their last coach got fired. Herman didn't coach a season yet.

In 2016, they were ranked #41. This was right after his first season. Huge jump.

Right now his class that is set to sign in February is #26. He's done a great job. I'm not sure where they'll end up with him staying there being in question now, but I'd say that's about as good as you can do in Houston.

He's never been a recruiter for long enough to really know.

I would say that's fair. We can't say right now that he's as good a recruiter as let's say Jimbo because of the length of sustainability and experience Jimbo has.

But we can say that the small amount of time he's had to recruit, he's done a great job.

I'm also not sure what experiance he has in recruiting at Iowa State and Ohio State. Maybe someone else can provide that.

Playing and being coached at an elite level brings kids in.

How Miles did it I haven't a clue.

I think he's a great recruiter. Without looking up details I remember him getting Kyle Allen to transfer there. D'erick King is another good player they signed last cycle.

He can't be worse than Les Miles when he first started here.
