Dude gave up about 1,000 yards the last game he coordinated. I'm truly disappointed but somehow not surprised.

Alleva needs to be gone with Miles if Miles gets shown the door.

I agree with 2 yrs. if next year is as bad on D as we think it could be with this shite hire, then maybe sooner.

Due to Steele not being a fan favorite and Miles' decision making history, it would not surprise me if Miles hired him just to prove that this is his team....

not surprised - typical Les - He gone with his "Lou Tepper"

dude is ready to go watch smacker at swim meets and see manny play baseball at michigan.

hiring steele will force LSU's hand to buy him out after 2015. more family time.

genius plan.

I'm convinced he clearly desn't give a shite as evidenced by this hire and is just coasting to retirement.

One can only hope. I hope that Steele recruits well and coaches a strong D, I really do. I don't see that happening based on actual history. So the silver lining is that has to mean the end of Miles, right?

No, the beginning of the end was thrusting JJ back into the starting QB role. We ended up with 1/9

We then rehired Peveto, whose coaching forced us to call a TO coming out of halftime

Then we lost one of the best DCs in the biz

This hire is probably the end of Les Miles

I think so. The press conferences will be more entertaining than the games.

I can't believe I've defended Miles this long. But yes this is the end of Miles. I think they give him until the end of the 2016 season though.
