I'm not convinced Malzahn can win without following Hugh Freeze

It was my only concern as I pondered the thought of having him as a potential head coach.

Well, Jones followed Kelly with a 4-8 season... and he lost head-to-head with Dooley... Malzahn following a conference championship with one of this own is considerably more impressive...

You might be correct. But it will have more to do with the fact that Malzahn cannot develop a QB than anything to do with Freezus.

you do realize that when arky and aub get back to being competitive ole miss will go back to the cellar where they belong? freeze did a good job turning yall around but he did it with two of the worst arky and aub teams in recent memory.

never happened, dude is full of himself. lashlee has been the qb coach since day one.
