You just have to overpay to get what you want. That is what the elite schools have done and look where they are. Clearly Alleva thinks LSU is not an elite school.

Alleva is a coward only concerned with doing politically correct things to cover his own arse.
A real AD would have had a real coaching search and taken a chance on an up-and-comer. You don't do anything worthwhile without taking risks.
