"IF" Raymond leaves, we need to get Zook asap

I definitely do not want to lose Raymond, but we know it will eventually happen whether its this year or in future. Zook was a hell of a DC but also great DB coach for many years in NFL and various colleges.
I understand we had success with Ron Cooper as DB coach, but I remember reading that many LSU db's said that Raymond coached alot more technique compared to Cooper.
In my opinion, its really hard to find a top notch coach who is also one hell of a recruiter. Zook actually fits in that category.

Our DBs were better under Cooper than they've been under Raymond, IMO

Our DB recruiting under Raymond has been GOAT level.
Cooper lied on expense reports and was a bad recruiter. We aren't replacing our best recruiter, with a bad one. Period.

Raymond isn't going anywhere. Where is all this junk coming from? Shea already said that much with his sauces. All this junk to negative recruit against us. Just stop it.

If a good DC job comes calling, he'll be gone.. I don't know if that happens, but it's still a possiblity.

Raymond would have to take a CUSA level DC job at best. He might do it, but that's what it would be. He's not getting a P5 or even an AAC job as a DC at this point.

Our d line was better when cooper was here. Didn't have to cover as long. Cooper didn't recruit. You don't want him.

Raymond wants to be a DC.. It's not if its when we lose him. Hopefully he will stay another year or two under Aranda before he makes the jump. Someone will give him a shot for sure
