If he lights it up at ND, that means he could have established a dynasty in BR.

You shouldn't. These turn of events means leadership has no interest in quality football or national championships, no interest in trying to create a top flight program.

Change your expectations, because our leadership have no interest in those things.

Fact.

This administration has put football on the back burner.

They'll take off the backburner when the money doesn't come in like it used to.

Best case...he ends up at Purdue, lights it up, and is there for the taking when we move on from O.

This is spot on. Alleva, King, BOS, Verge no vision and no real desire to compete at the highest level. Their talk is cheap. They'll probably put a stuffed Tiger from the gift shop in the habitat and tell us it's real. Theye knew a year ago how short Mile's leash was and didn't even cross Nicholson to search for a coach. You can love O without loving the hire.

Fleck was my 1b with Herman as my 1a. O was my number 4 behind Jimbo.

I'm didn't get what I wanted but I'm still cautiously optimistic.

I do have my Kleenex handy, though.

I'm not sure Notre Dame can be fixed at this point. No kid growing up today has ever heard of or given a shite about the school's "storied history" and most of the southern black kids they'd love to poach from us and others in order to be good are not catholic.

Also, I've been to South Bend several times. It's not an exciting place. It's cold and flat and boring.

PJ Fleck is a poor mans Ron Zook. He'd get killed at Notre Dame.
