You'd end up with a lot of terrible coaches if you only looked to record from one year

His track record has been successful at every job stop. You wouldn't have to pay him the farm and it would help with the buyout for Les to hire someone who isn't as costly. Texas may be his dream job but I bet he would take the LSU job and with his ability to recruit in Texas, that helps.
Even though Urban Meyer was a head coach for 3 more years, Do you think the Urban Myer hire for Florida was a bad one?
My point is if a guy can coach and can recruit, they don't have to have an extensive head coaching record to be the right hire.
