If O fails, whose next?

First off, I'm not rooting for the guy to perform poorly, I've been opposed to him becoming HC since they placed the interim tag on him in the first place, but I will always want my shool to win.

Here's my biggest concern, you look at the most successful coaches in CF, they're all top dollar coaches. I'm a firm believed in "you get what you pay for". It appears, on the surface, that Alleva was not willing to pay to play with the big dogs, so he went the cheaper route. If that doesn't pan out, assuming he still has a job, does he change course and fork out big money for a big hire? And if so, who is it?
