If it is the Ogre, is it better for the long term to hope we lose every game or?

is it better to go 8-4/7-5? I mean, if he has a horrible season next year, maybe he is just a one year HC. However, if he limps to 7-5/8-4, he gets a second year. Then if he limps to 8-4 again, he gets a third year.

I mean, it's always better to just rip the band aid off, isn't it?

Only drawback could still be the perception of the program, making it tougher to hire big name coaches in the future.

As a true fan I'll just be cautiously optimistic on our future even if I feel like we could have done better. Won't turn on the team. Too much LSU in my blood.

Gtfo. Either support the program or don't. Don't root for our kids to lose

You have to be Curly Hallman bad to do worse than .500 at LSU. O will do all right, he just isn't the home run hire we were led to believe LSU was going after.

Are you kidding? he has a losing record as a HC. He lost to the only two teams that have any semblance of a pulse this year in Bama and FL.

If he is hired, we will be 7-5 for 3 years which will hurt the program image much more than one bad year and a rebound.
