Miles to Michigan...

Fisher to LSU as HC...
Pelini to LSU as DC...
Orgeron to LSU as DL coach...
Frank promoted to OC in the "Kirby Smart" sorta way....

should dry the eyes of all those crying for Miles to stay....

Fisher and pelini are both complete assholes and I wouldn't want them near LSU.

Miles stays at LSU
wins another NC
gets the all-time win record
retires as an LSU legend
gets hired as the Michigan AD

also...why the frick would Jimbo leave FSU?

How about retaining Chavis? LSU's best defenses have all come under Chavis. At HC they should seriously go after EVERYONE on their wishlist. For me, I'd think Shaw would be a good fit (maybe not culturally, he's a west-coaster.) The style he's run at Stanford with less talent to work with is desirable.

This attitude is so fricking stupid. Fisher is a top 5 coach in the country, you just think he's a dick because he's in the limelight and his QB is an idiot. I don't think Pelini is a good coordinator to begin with, so I won't comment on him. Football is about winning, who gives a shite if the coach is an "arse". The biggest asses in the business are the best coaches. Jimbo would be a perfect hire. He knows the recruiting landscape, is a good recruiter, and knows the SEC and what it takes to win.

If Miles leaves (which I don't believe will happen)...

You need to find a successful coach who has done more with less talent (despite recruiting well for their current programs capabilities) and develops a good culture around the program

I posted the below in another thread, and in my opinion is the correct course of action...

LSU should make Mark Dantonio, and/or Gary Pinkel say no to a good offer. These two would probably be tough, but possible.

Then approach Todd Graham and/or Gary Patterson with a good offer.

#1 priority once one of these 4 is locked up is to retain Frank Wilson... should be written in the new coaches contract or understood during negotiations.

You wouldn't mind if LSU burned to the ground if Miles could rule over the ashes.

Fisher is a good guy and coach

Saban is an A -hole but he wins championships

So which is more important?

Another good name that fits that billing is Gary Andersen, if he could be pried away from Wisconsin.

jimbo isn't leaving FSU
harbaugh isn't leaving the NFL
gruden isn't leaving MNF
LSU will not hire another current SEC coach or assistant as HC

It's fantasy to think otherwise

Michigan will offer miles and he might take it. Maybe he won't. that would surprise me at this point.

what's different here is that the people that didn't want les at michigan are either no longer at michigan, or they are being told to shut up after they got brady hoke.
