I want the same standards in a HC as Bama, Ohio St, or Michigan

I want the best coach on the market. We don't deserve to settle for a decent coach. We have the same elite facilities and money as Bama, Ohio St., & Michigan. We play in the best conference in America. We have the whole state to ourselves in recruiting. You don't fire a very good coach for a good coach (Fedora). Even if we have to hit the NFL, we deserve the best coach available. Now ask yourself this, would Bama, Ohio St., or Michigan settle for a coach if they fired Saban, Meyer, or Harbaugh?

If you cannot understand that the plight of Louisiana's budget won't impact what we can offer a new coach, I can't help you. Neither Fisher nor Herman are worth Harbaugh, Saban, or Meyer money. Though Jimbo is close and Herman has potential, but neither are amongst the elite. Don't be surprised with a Fedora or Gundy hire. Both would improve our offense immediately, but will fall short of fan expectations.
