All we hear of the search is rumors. We have no way of knowing if they contacted Fleck, Peterson, etc.

Alleva is worried about his legacy and knows this hire defines it.

There is some talent out there.

Great mid-major coaches who have little talent and do well but can't get noticed would be okay with me.

I think the thing that might doom us to O is the recruiting angle. No one knows if that great mid major coach can bring in the players, and in this league, if you don't have the players, it doesn't matter how good you are.

I think that's also the reason a lot of ambitious coaches don't come beating down our door.

Personally I've always thought pj was a great option. The guy has trended up at every opportunity. Albeit this is teaching, i truly beleive it would work in our favor.
