I don't understand the melting over Kiffin ..

Taking a head coach position over the LSU OC job. I'm sick of the jabs from everyone acting like we are getting shafted or "it wasn't in the binder".
I'm pretty sure everyone with any amount of brain matter left in their head, understands this. No way he would come over a HC opportunity.
I'm sure coach O felt pretty good that he would come if a HC opportunity didn't happen. We'll be fine.. plenty of good options out there.

I don't think a lot of people would be melting over not getting Kiffin. There are a lot of options for a solid OC in the country.

Nobody expects a guy to pick OC here vs HC at Houston.

Is there really a melt? If you consider criticism a melt, ok. But I don't think it's about Kiffin. If O promised to bring Kiffin/retain Aranda and THAT'S why he was hired, then that's a huge problem.

Regardless if he does take another job or not.. everyone is acting like we are a joke for thinking he comes to LSU.
Which I think is a good chance if he doesn't get a HC opportunity. Not saying I like that idea, but it's definitely a possibility

well considering O was hired with the promise of Kiffin as the OC, I'd say this was/is a pretty big failure
