Oh coaching changes board experts please enlighten me with some of your knowledge.

How long does this process usually take a HC? Do most assistant hires usually happen after the bowl season or is it common for them to switch pre bowl game?

it really depends on who you are trying to take and from where.

the last time we had a coaching change, several position coaches didn't get on board until after NSD.

number one, arkansas has no bowl game. which is why most coaches get fired is when they have no bowl game to prepare for.

So, that means bielema should be hiring people as quickly as possible to get on with recruiting

is it college or pro coaches that go to the senior bowl in hopes of finding a job?

Make a couple of initial hires is important... A dead period starts Monday so you can then focus on coaching staffs for a couple of weeks...

That's kind of what I thought but we haven't hired anyone...hell BB still has the old staff recruiting for him right now.... I'm beginning to worry and the responses in this thread didn't really help me feel any better.

It just depends. As said, you have guys still involved in bowl practices and things like that. You also have to consider when the job has posted for the University and etc.

Stoops already has most of his staff intact but it was pretty fluid up until a couple days ago due to Brown being interviewed for some HC spots.
