How bad will it hurt recruiting if LSU has to wait until after the CFP to announce its next coach?

Bad. But this deal will be official after the A&M game. Nothing is pointing to the contrary.

Don't think that will happen.

It could be announced on January 1st. That's the day Jimbo's buyout decreases from $5,000,000 to $3,000,000.

LSU will have a coach announced no later than 2 weeks from today.
