He is finally out.

Hope our new coach can bring in a more balanced attack.

Dumb move I say. I think Nutt was a better coach than he got credit for and I think it will be a LONG time before Arky finishes first or second in the west again. I doubt they will even be above third very often now.

Is this an Ark board, I thought the colors at the top are purple and gold?

Arkansas rebounded to finish the regular season 8-4 and knocked LSU out of the nation's No. 1 spot with a 50-48, triple-overtime victory over the Tigers on Friday.

I think Arky should have held on to the guy. Personally I don't think that such a bad record and season outcome for a piss poor little institution like Arkansas. I'm serious.

I'm sure Nutt realizes how bad Ark will be over the next few yrs and wanted out. The win over LSU will def. help his resume when looking for a new job.

Define irony:

You go to the SEC Championship game and Cap1 Bowl one year and beat the #1 team and win 8 games and on yoru way to another bowl this year - and you are out after you just went into the #1 team's stadium and beat them

I know its been building - but its only Ark.. I think Nutt did about as well as he could there... He recruited the best player in college football the last two years to play for that school and believe in it and he also had the 2nd best RB in college football...

ARK will never be LSU, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia... they lack the recruiting prowess

You are right, this is an LSU board. But seeing how some LSU fan would have made this thread anyways, I thought i'd be the first to let you know.

If you don't know how this affects LSU, you are an idiot

they lack the recruiting prowess = because Nutt can't recruit. DMAC has more than one occasion said he was going to Arkansas since he was born, regardless of the coach

I do. They already had the link up though. When I came here and realized yall can't see past you Purple and Yellow (yes, Yellow) glasses, i decided to let you in on some info. LSU was able to easily beat Nutt (most of the time), but with a new coach..you never know.

What games have you been watching? More often than not, ARK plays LSU close. 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007 - all close games.
