Herman vs. Jimbo vs. Orgeron

Why is this board so damn caught up with bringing in a coach from the outside?! Be careful what you hope for. "The grass is always greener on the other side". Check out these records and tell me these coaches are better than "O".
Herman's 2016 record
Jimbo's 2016 record
You want to replace Coach O with that? GTFO!!!
Yes, Houston beat Louisville last night. Great! They also lost to SMU and Navy! And they haven't been particularly impressive against the rest of their mediocre schedule except for their opening season win against an average Oklahoma team.
And Jimbo got steamrolled by Louisville 63-20, then lost to North Carolina and Clemson.
Both coaches would have been fired if they had a record like that at LSU!
Yes, Coach O needs to beat Florida and Texas A&M to settle this argument. However if he does, this decision should be a "no brainer".
Stop lobbying for these other coaches who aren't really that great! Jimbo is past his prime and Herman may end up being a great coach, but it is still a major risk to think he can move into the SEC and beat Alabama or anyone else for that matter.
Unfortunately there is only one Nick Saban and one Urban Meyer and they aren't coming to LSU! The rest of the HC's around the country aren't any more proven than "O".
Let's get behind the man! He has already worked miracles, completely changed the competitiveness and enthusiasm of this team, and re-ignited the fan base. He is already known as a great recruiter. Keeping him almost ensures we will have a great recruiting class.
And I almost forgot! When Coach O speaks, you can actually understand what the heck he is saying. He is frank and to the point!

Herman I can get behind and understand but Jimbo I will NEVER understand, it's exactly like replacing Les with a make over Les Miles, and he would cost us a fortune. He's not coming here for small potatoes I can assure you. He will rape LSU and not give two shits about the outcome. Why these people want this man is beyond me! He could coach out his contract then retire and he wouldn't care one bit where LSU is at that point. Keep O or go get Herman it's that simple.

No. Nothing in Coach O's resume indicates that he can build or sustain our program. We have no idea what his coaching philosophy really is because he is playing with another coach's players and staff. Coach O "says" he's learned from the dumpster fire that was his Ole Miss Head Coaching job, but what evidence do we have of this? Very little. I don't think it's worth the risk.

Yes I was wondering why the service academy's and Georgia tech were winning all the titles the last decade or so. Its because the triple option is so hard to defend. I know Clemson didn't have any trouble stopping it when they pounded Georgia tech this year. Keep making excuse's for Tom Herman losing those games when he should have curb stomped those two teams. Bottom line is they weren't prepared and got beat and the same will happen here.
