Herman not trusting Texas officials has entered into negotiations with LSU. LSU is playing Sexton's tactics back at him. Jimbo contacted LSU and not through Sexton speaking solely about property tax in Florida compared to Louisiana. The fuse it lit for Herman's hire and Jimbo knows it. Sexton is expected to respond soon as Herman's camp is closing now. This should bring Texas or Sexton to the table to stop Herman's hire.

Jimbo's 2014 contract stipulated he must pay any assistant coaches salary not retained by the new (Fla St) coach. That was $4.3M in 2014. Could this be holding up the deal?

I'd love to see this blow up in Sexton's face. I'd be great to see Jimbo stay at FSU without getting a raise or concessions.
