y'all might think I'm crazy but I find it awful coincidental that they were roommates, still talk frequently, Herman is our first choice (So it seems), no Les clause in Arandas contract, surely Joe said hey Aranda holler at your boy for me and see if he has any interest I coming here if Les is gone......

Considering Miles wanted Aranda the previous year, but Alleva wouldn't allow any assistants to have contracts without the Miles clause attached, I highly doubt it. Steele was the only one who would accept a 2 year contract (not the typical 3) with the Miles clause attached.

So at some point Alleva decided there might be a longer term plan with Aranda being here with Les gone. if Alleva chose to do this knowing he had a good chance making this thing happen with Herman and Aranda I gotta give him credit he got all his ducks in a row first

Tom Herman denied any contact from LSU regarding the HC position. He didn't deny contact from an old roommate though. Tom Herman to LSU CONFIRMED!!!

We can only hope that Alleva/BOS/TAF/Politico group could be so forward thinking. After listening to Alleva bumbling and stumbling through press conferences and interviews, he needs all the help he can get.

A few people have mentioned it. Mascona and Culotta have mentioned that as well. I'm assuming it's recently, if i remember correctly one of them mentioned he discussed his move here with Herman before he accepted the job here.
