Has CLM finally learned his lesson to be trusted for a new HC job?

He's proven for 12 seasons at LSU that he's going to do what he wants & stick by his guys. Now, it cost him a potential lifelong career if he would've just kept up with the offensive times.

Power 5 ADs have to have been paying attention. So, how does CLM now prove he's ready to adapt & open up the playbook at a new program...? Has he learned to now trust all of his assistants?

He had a pretty good track record of winning.. maybe some ADs will be looking for a coach that can win.

I've watched Miles for 11 years now. So, no, he has not.

He will be hired though. He will go a to a school for a year or two and increase recruiting and exposure for a short time period.

I hope the guys goes somewhere and has success....

But i'm also secretly hoping that the offensive woes continue and looking forward to the media vindication of what LSU fans have said for years.

know he wants to coach again but he's either going to be on ESPN or CBS starting this weekend. I dunno which he (or if he has yet) picked but he was offered a job by both for the rest of this season.

That may very well be an audition in a lot of ways to any AD and fan base

I think it would be hard for him to replicate his success at LSU at other schools.

LSU has a natural recruiting advantage in Louisiana that doesn't exist in most places.

He really needs a ton of talent to play ball control all-defense football.

Did Charlie Brown ever learn his lesson? I want Miles to be successful if he coaches again but if he was ever going to change it would have been between last season and this one.

I'm not sure if you could have a program stronger than LSU with a coach being fired. If you believe Miles can accomplish program building, who cares if you end up firing him several years down the road (assuming it's a program that need rebuilding).
