I agree. Ross is also clearly the mouthpiece for the decision makers. He seems leery that Herman sticks if UT comes into play. Seems to think Jimbo is done. At that point, you know the admin would freak out and stand behind the #he'soneofus crowd.

Ross is about as clueless as I am on this situation. Of course he's going to feel that way bc the media been piping up the Herman only wants UT dream. Then factor in how negotiations collapsed last season with Jimbo.

Lots of reasons. LSU gets a lot of press around the country for not caring about academics or not funding the university. And Baton Rouge get a lot of press around the country for shootings, floods, and traffic.

Jimmy ott just said to Ross that we have a 3 and a half hour show and I have a pretty good feeling something will break so keep us posted. Being today is coach Os meeting with alleva I have a bad feeling about this.

While I certainly hope that LSU can win the battle to secure Herman, if it does not happen, then why can't candidates like Fleck and Josh McDaniels of the Patriots get some consideration?

This times 1000. People thinking Alleva is capable of making a boss hire like Herman or Jimbo are delusional. Alleva is terrible at his job, this will hopefully be the final exploitation to get him fired. That dipshit can't even keep his emails from being leaked
eta: Alleva will wait until Monday to sign someone like Fedora and also piss off Coach O and all of his minions which will lead to the firing of Alleva (hopefully) but then again F. King sucks too
