If LSU football recruiting depends on him, how did LSU football survive prior to him being on the staff? How did we not lose all the Louisiana recruits when he wasnt here?

Relax, most Louisiana kids want to play for LSU as long as we are relevant. Some want to leave the state, and thats unavoidable. I hope Orgeron stays on staff but the fear of him leaving is ridiculous.

You are correct. Point is, Orgeron is not the only one who can recruit Louisiana.

Amen. Don't understand how all of a sudden LSU is so codependent on O.

It won't be the end of the world, but losing Wilson and O in the span of 2 years would be a blow.

Eh assuming Jimbo is hired and thats why Orgeron is no longer here, Im confident Jimbo still has plenty of recruiting contacts in Louisiana and would lock it down again.

O supporters are just grasping at straws for reasons to have him as a HC. Just like in Plato's Cave they can only see whats in front of them, they aren't able to understand anything beyond that.

Honestly, it's just painful to see a guy doing his damndest, and doing a good job, who clearly loves what he's doing, and wants it more than anything else, get the boot, if that's what happens. You just want a guy like that to succeed, and it sucks if he does everything they ask him to and they still say "sorry, you're not our guy."

It's a job that pays 4-6 million per year. There shouldn't be emotion involved. It's about qualifications.

He's still gonna get offered a job making over a million per year. Hard to feel bad for him.

I would be more worried if we lost both Coach O and Bradley Dale Peveto. Peveto has been doing work on the recruiting trails these past few seasons.

Who hasn't been turned down for a job they really want? It sucks but it's business. If he really wants to be a HC, he'll be able to do that somewhere. Just hopefully not at LSU.

D-line recruiting picked up immediately when he got here. Also, d-line development as well. Herron and Gilmore are guys who looked like they'd never see the field and he's made them into mainstays in the rotation.

I'm sure he's done great but I think half of that is Brick Haleys ineptitude. That's why good guy Les let him go.

At this point we should be more terrified we keep him.
