For Herman: Louisiana vs Los Angeles?

So it seems like the choice for Herman is going to come down to USC vs LSU. Does he go to LA (Los Angeles) or come to LA (Louisiana).
Hate to say it folks.....as much as i love my Tigers and the program here. If I'm making the choice between those 2 its not even close. SoCal wins everytime...better school, better leadership, better quality of life, Better weather, Hollywood, national prominence.
If USC fires Helton - forget it. Herman's not coming to LSU. Lets all pray for USC to have a great season.

LSU is a better college football job than USC. You troll.

Taxes are higher in California

How often does a coach get fired after one season?

You're so wrong it's not even funny.
Southern California is a better place to live. But LSU is a better job.
But football coaches are obsessed with football and competing. Not where to live.
NIck Saban lives in Tuscaloosa.
LSU is a better job than USC.
USC has a garbage football atmosphere and the Pac 10 is not the SEC in terms of competition.
LSU has much more of a football culture. Football is more important. That's why outside of Pete Carroll, USC football has been garbage since the 1970s.

And you are basing this on what? I just gave you several reasons why its not. And dont say recruiting....USC can get 5stars from all over the country.

I'd be more worried if the Texas job opened up than the USC job.

Fine.
SEC > PAC10
Recruiting. You have to work a lot harder at USC on this front (and probably do more shady stuff) than in BR. We are in the heart of the top recruiting grounds in the country. Lock Louisiana up, and pull a couple guys from Texas and Florida and you have one of the most talented teams in the country.
Finally:
No1 cares about college football in Los Angeles. They have the Dodgers, Angels, Lakers, Clippers and now the Rams that will always be more of a priority than USC football. Not even mentioning UCLA. Here it's LSU, and only LSU.

That's why LSU's outrecruited USC year after year.
That's why LSU (not USC) has led the NFL in the number of
players for 3 years running.
This is one of the problems with LSU--is that some of the fans are stuck in the past with a loser mentality.
Please step aside with your negative attitude and completely and completely misinformed opinion about what LSU is and is not relative to USC--while LSU once again hires a better coach, because, it is simply a better job.

Herman may have many options...could be LA vs L.A. vs South Bend vs Austin

You mean the leadership that was there when they got sanctioned, hired Lane Kiffin, hired a drunk and the hired the interim coach like morons?
Great leadership.
Also they are gonna get Chip Kelly

USC is surrounded with top flight talent.

If USC fires Helton after 1 season, do you know how unstable they will look as a program? Talk about mountain high expectations.
That would be 4-5 different HC's since the start of the decade. Not a good look.

It's all about the dollars. LA (Los Angeles)= higher taxes, higher gas prices, higher cost of living.
In BR, he'll live like a king. In LA, he'll live like a middle class citizen here.

You are clearly out of the loop.

Too bad you're not just comparing Los Angeles to Baton Rouge.
You're comparing LSU vs. USC, and on that front, I think LSU matches up more than favorably with USC. Recruiting? Money? Facilities? Fanbase? Conference? Sorry, those are all in LSU's favor.
One of the talking heads said last week during a game that USC could be in trouble because now that LA has an NFL team, USC is no longer a one man show in LA and interest/attendance may start to wane. Plus, USC hasn't been a model of stability recently.
