WHY...WHY...WHY...would Joe Alleva fire Les Miles during the season WITHOUT a coach already confirmed (behind closed doors)???
Proof that Joe Alleva is an amateur.

Ya, I would bet the overwhelming majority doesn't work like that. It is such a silly idea.

I agee somewhat. I mean we had since the September firing to find a coach - I understand that most of the times you need to wait till the end of the season to find a coach. Then miles should have been terminated after last season - we do appear clueless

Very few big profile schools have coaches locked down when they fire their current coaches.

Because, at the time, LSu was not eliminated from either the SEC West and overall SEC titles. shite, we were one yard away from a Sugar Bowl bid.

You understand it doesnt matter at what point he was fired there will always be a search? Better to be close to finalization now then wait till the end of the season and sit with our thumbs up our asses i.e. Texas.

They replaced that most successful coach with a position coach and we are breaking offensive records almost every week. Point is he was an overpaid position coach.

Rrriiiiggggghhhhttt because there was TONS of coaches ready to sign on the dotted line in week 5 of the season.

So lets analyze that shall we? No coach that was actually coaching this season was going to sign a deal in week 5. Not gonna happen not ever. Soo that leaves you with candidates NOT currently coaching. Yeah Art Briles was an option....not! Houston Nutt maybe? Laughable I mean Idk is he even coaching anymore? So what about Jon Gruden......No comment needed.

You "Alleva should had a coach already in the fold when we fired Miles" are friggin delusional.

The only way you could have a coach set in stone in September is if he didn't have a job

Rrriiiiggggghhhhttt......Either fire Les at the end of last season OR at the end of this season. Thanks for making my point.
