This could make sense if he wants to get out of Chapel Hill before the NCAA sanction hammer busts UNC's nuts wide-the-frick open.

I'd rather live in Mississippi than live in Missouri right now

And luckily for us, you are not Larry Fedora.

But mizzou is a huge political risk. You'll have to be down with "the cause" and forced to support major contraversial stances just to not look like a racist to recruits. Pinkel retired for that reaso

You believe too much of what you see on the news.

Mizzou Board

North Carolina Board

Apparently some guy named Kilgore knows people in the athletic dept and seems to be a decent source so far.

Regardless of the issues at Mizzou, it's a better place for a football coach than UNC. Roy Williams is untouchable as far as any NCAA issues, and the football coach usually ends up being the fall guy as far as he's concerned. Wasn't he instrumental in getting Glen Mason run out of KU?

Would not be a bad move whatsoever for Fedora.

Missouri will have once again one-upped A&M by taking the better CUSA coach.

The knock on Fedora is that he's a gold-plated a-hole who isn't well-liked by HS coaches in NC.

USC is 3-0 against him, including one game at USM where he talked shite, and this year when we were absolutely putrid. And he still talked shite.

There are a lot of people in Cola who have seen Fedora up close, and came away with a resounding "no."

If this is true, it would not be a good fit at Mizzou. He sounds half-jerky in interviews, to be quite honest.

Humility goes a long way in Missouri, and I'm not sure he has any.

I haven't given up on Herman. That grin he gave in the press conference the other day tells me he has something up his sleeve.

That would be the best hire of the year. I can't believe the other top programs didn't go after Fedora.

Georgia: hiring Kirby Smart (Richt fired)
Southern Cal: hired Clay Helton (Sarkisian fired)
Virginia Tech: hired Justin Fuente (Beamer retired)
Minnesota: hired Tracy Claeys (Kill retired)
Illinois: hired Cubit (Beckman fired)
Iowa State: hired Matt Cambell (Rhoads fired)
UCF: hired Scott Frost (O'Leary resigned)
Hawaii: hired Nick Rolovich (Chow fired)
