The Eagles have made their decision.

But their choice to be head coach is still kind of busy.

According to Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News, the Eagles have picked Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson to be their head coach.

He might do very well there. The pieces there fit well into his system

Demarco could be Demarco again if they get some linemen

Good TEs and runningbacks for that system, don't need an all star QB, just someone to take care of the ball (need the defense to be good for this all to work tho)

Kind of funny that the Eagles fire Andy Reid to hire Kelly. Then fire Kelly and go after Andy Reid's right hand man

This is what I was thinking. KC's offense wasn't flashy and didn't put up huge yardage numbers but it seemed very efficient when I watched. They still have to do something about that D though

no QB

buuuuut I've been saying RGIII should go play under Reid, playing under his protege may not be a bad option though

That defense has plenty of talent. It's really amazing they were as bad as they were

They will be better if only for the fact that their offense won't be putting them into the field for 80 percent of the game anymore

Isn't he from the coaching tree of the guy they fired before Chip?

SI's Don Banks reports the Eagles have interest in Jim Schwartz for their defensive coordinator opening. Schwartz hasn't hidden his desire to return to coaching for 2016, and the Eagles have openings after parting with Chip Kelly's staff, where Billy Davis served as defensive coordinator. Schwartz runs a Wide 9, 4-3 scheme and might change the complexion of Philadelphia's defense, which played 3-4 and man coverage under Davis. Schwartz's defenses in Tennessee and Detroit were attacking, aggressive units with a penchant for rac
