Don't we normally hire a search firm?...

I could be wrong, but I remember that last two times we hired a search firm to assist with our coaching search. I always thought that was kinda ridiculous, but now I'm starting to think that Alleva could have used that kind of help. Anyone remember this? I thought they actually found Saban for us.

We had an excel spread sheet of every coach in the country
We sorted them by Cajun accent and only one name popped up

LSU and Alleva are a frickING embarrassment. Watching the OSU Michigan game and you see two programs who paid the money to get who they wanted. LSU gets...a failed HC who is one heck of a defense line coach.

Alleva could have literally created a dozen handwritten slips of paper with the names of current head coaches who would've come to LSU for the same money and drawn a name at random for a more exciting hire.
