Don't try to prove your cunning or your insightful vision, don't ferret out the diamond in the rough, don't take the road less traveled. Make compelling, lucrative offers to the coaches with the very best pedigrees and the greatest promise. Hire the resume.

Jimbo and Herman. There are others who fit the criteria. In essence, I don't want Alleva to take some risk on a relative unknown or second tier prospect merely to demonstrate his own prowess or reduce the costs of investment. Just pay a lot for the best candidates.
