I love our assistants and the beginning of the "shadow pack" forming behind the scenes. Sucks we gotta wait until 2017 to see if it's all hype or the real deal.

Well...we know Aranda is the real deal, at least.

If Canada got Jacoby Brissett to the NFL I think he can do just fine at LSU.

After 12 years of Miles it will be refreshing to just see another person directing the offense.

And allowing the coordinators do their jobs.

The run, run, pass, punt crap got old and figured out by the opposition too many times.
I'm excited for 2017, I don't care what anyone says.

And a head coach who no other school would even want to interview.

Coach O is putting a great staff together.

I understand not agreeing with the hire. I didn't either, but it's done and he's our guy.

Being this negative even after he's hired an OC who has the potential to do great things here has to be exhausting.

Just put that you didn't agree with hiring O in your sig and be done with it.

Exactly. I don't understand why people take it so personally. I think we could have made a better hire at HC, but some people get so upset they won't be happy until O fails so they feel vindicated.

Like you said, O has put together a great staff so far. If he pulls a top 5 recruiting class i would consider this a success so far. Bit of a mess getting from point A to Z, but considering what LSU Football has been through in 2016, I'll take.

2017 is looking promising.

And there it is. I didn't like the process and wanted Jimbo ( I think Herman is overrated). The fact that this guy can maybe put together a great staff and succeed is not out of the realm of possibility. And if not Jimbo or Herman what other slam dunk was out there? The only coach that I am not willing to accept as our HC right now is Les Miles.

I wasnt happy with the process, but I have a feeling Coach O will have Pete Carroll like success.

For those still down on O, people need to realize that since his Ole Miss disaster, he has been under two Super Bowl Champion coaches- Pete Carrol and Shawn Payton. He learned a lot under both coaches!
