It would be great to keep him as the DL coach, but not the end of the world, if he goes elsewhere.

He should. And, he should not feel at all slighted to be able to keep his job as DLine coach and Recruiting Coordinator.

He did a great job as interim coach. He should be rewarded.

But, I'm sure he leaves to go be head coach at McNeese State or somewhere like that and is never heard from again. Sad.

He'll likely get a HC gig someplace else -- good for him. Asking him to stay in a role other than HC would be a slap in the face.

We'd be stupid to get rid of him.

Agreed. I pulled for Orgeron but it didn't workout. I hope he stays here and works his tail off to make LSU better. But if he gets his feelings hurt, then it's on him

Probably. He coached like someone who had security but knew he wouldn't be the guy. At least that's what it seemed like to me.

How is it a slap in the face? He hasn't earned this job. And he won't be offered many other schools and definitely not a big program.

The ULL gig is a real possibility. Hope O stays.

I think with this loss against a depleted Florida team O may stay if offered by whomever the new coach is.

The only issue for O may be that it looks a lot like he may have been maneuvering behind the scenes prior to Miles being fired (not saying he was but I could see how it could look that way). If the incoming coach thinks that is at all a possibility, he won't keep him.

Are you kidding?

Alleva's getting ready for the press conference tomorrow announcing CEO as the head coach.

This Athletic Department is a dumpster fire.
