Does it come down to how much money Layla is getting?

Just wondering, if U of H gives Kiffin 1.5 million more than what he's offered at LSU does this tip the balance due to how much he as to give Layla and the kids each year?

If Kiffin is offered the UH head coaching job, I don't think money matters. I just think the fact that UH head coach is a much better job than LSU OC trumps all.

Texas also is a no state income tax state.

But the property taxes in Texas are much higher than in Louisiana, so it may be a wash.

I believe a HC job is better than an OC job. and the HC job can lead to a bigger HC job down the road.

Absolutely, just about any HC job at an upper tier G5 program is easily better than a coordinator position at a top P5 school.
